Denise Prosek – Music Director
As Music Director of Theater Latté Da, Denise has music directed over twenty mainstage productions and numerous cabarets. An accomplished pianist, Denise has performed at most theaters in the Twin Cities, including Ordway Center, Chanhassen Dinner Theatres, Mixed Blood, Theater Mu, Illusion, The Children’s Theatre Company, and most recently at the Guthrie for Caroline, Or Change and Little House On The Prairie. She is Music Director for the Spotlight Awards for Hennepin Theatre Trust and the IVEY Awards. This past summer, she both composed the score and music directed Is There A Doctor In The House? for the University of Minnesota’s Centennial Showboat. Denise holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, and has been honored as Outstanding Musical Director by Star Tribune in 2006 for Gypsy and in 2008 for Parade.
