Kimberly Motes – Managing Director
Kimberly joined Theater Latté Da as its first full-time Managing Director in December 2008. For seven years she led the efforts to build the Minnesota Shubert Performing Arts and Education Center where she raised $34.5 million, including $12 million from the State of Minnesota, and initiated and directed an award-winning, Internet-based education program. Kim was the Director of Development at Arena Stage in Washington, DC for five years. Prior to Arena, she directed adult arts education programming at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts for six years. She initiated a national study of adult arts participation which resulted in the publication Learning Audiences. She also created a national ballet training program with legendary ballerina Suzanne Farrell. Prior to the Kennedy Center she worked at the Washington Ballet. A native of Minnesota, she is a graduate of the College of Saint Benedict.
Kimberly currently is on the Board of Trustees for the College of Saint Benedict and Zenon Dance Company.
