NEXT TO NORMAL: MENTAL HEALTH RESOURCES
Throughout the process of mounting and performing NEXT TO NORMAL, Theater Latté Da has benefited from the expertise of clinical psychologist Michelle D. Sherman, PhD, LP, ABPP as a resource for artists and patrons as we navigate this powerful, emotional story.
Michelle Sherman, PhD, LP, ABPP is a board certified, licensed clinical psychologist based in the Twin
Cities. She has dedicated her career to supporting families impacted by mental illness/PTSD, and has written several books for these families (www.SeedsofHopeBooks.com). After having worked in academia for many years, she recently began a private practice. In addition, she serves as the Editor of the journal, Couple and Family Psychology: Research and Practice, and is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association. She has a lifelong passion for theatre, as both a choreographer and patron, and is delighted to merge her love of psychology and theatre with this amazing production. She is humbled and grateful for the opportunity to serve this cast/production team as a Mental Health Consultant. #BeTheGood
