Theater Latté Da seeks to create new connections between story, music, artist and audience by exploring and expanding the art of musical theater. Founded in 1998 by Artistic Director Peter Rothstein and Resident Music Director Denise Prosek, Theater Latté Da brings Twin Cities audiences award-winning musical theater consistently recognized for its quality, intellectual rigor, imagination and relevance. Since its inception, Theater Latté Da has presented 73 mainstage musical productions including 11 world premieres.

Throughout its relatively brief history, Theater Latté Da has received over 90 honors and awards for its work. In both its mission and celebrated realization of that mission, Theater Latté Da stands out as a bold innovator, investing in the art of musical theater, moving it forward, and taking it to new frontiers for Minnesota audiences and beyond.
